More Than Just a Roofing Company

Sunwest Roofing was founded by Alex Iglesias in 2011 with one simple goal: do the job right and treat every home like it's your own. What started as a family operation has grown into one of Calgary's most trusted exterior companies, with over 4,000 completed projects and a reputation built almost entirely on referrals.

Alex is still hands-on. He shows up, stays involved, and holds every job to the same standard as the first one. That hasn't changed in 15 years, and it won't.

What We Do

We handle everything on the outside of your home.Roof replacement, siding replacement, eavestroughs, soffit, fascia, repairs, and hail restoration. One company, one crew, all of it done properly.

From a single repair to a full exterior overhaul, we've seen it all and handled it all. No job gets passed off to someone else; our own team takes it from the first call to the final walkthrough.

What We Stand For

We don't believe in hidden charges, vague warranties, or disappearing after the job is done. Every project is priced upfront, includes everything it needs, and is backed by a 10-year workmanship warranty and a 50-year shingle warranty. If something isn't right, we come back and fix it.

Why We Only Use Our Own Crew

Every job is handled by our own trained, in-house team. No subcontractors, no strangers showing up at your door. This is how we keep quality consistent across every project we take on, whether it's a single repair or a full exterior replacement. You get the same crew, the same standards, and the same attention to detail every time.

250 REVIEWS AND COUNTING

4000+ Happy Customers

Over 4,000 completed projects and 239 reviews. But the number we’re most proud of is referrals. People recommending us to their friends and family- that means more than any award ever could. We didn’t build that by cutting corners. We built it by showing up and doing the job right. Every single time.

Once again SunWest did a great job on our roof replacement! Efficient, organized, communicating always, excellent cleanup and very friendly! Thanks guy!

After a big hail storm we reached out to Sun West to help replace all of our siding and shingles. It was our first experience with work like this and Alex went above and beyond. He helped us navigate the challenges of dealing with insurance and got them to cover more of our roof then originally quoted. His team did a fantastic job with replacing our siding to our new blue, giving us a new roof and we even hired them to replace the garage door.

Everything was done so professionally and we will be hiring them again in the spring to replace our eaves, soffits and fascia to match our houses new colours.

Dani Perry (Dinara)

We used sunwest to complete our hail repairs after last years hail storm. Couldn’t be happier with the end result as they even helped us get 2500$ back from our insurance company for upgrading to the class 4 shingles
